IMM® - Infinity® Modified
Masterpiece
IPSC Modified Division Pistol
They said it couldn't be done...
The International Practical Shooting Federation (IPSC) requirements for
"Modified Divsion" mandate that a competitor's pistol fit entirely within
a box of 225mm x 150mm x 45mm interior dimension. Until now, common knowledge
was that this size requirement eliminated compensated pistols with state
of the art optical sights.
...so we did it
We love a challenge at Infinity Firearms®, so we really enjoyed
designing the ultimate IPSC Modified Division Pistol.
...and it won!!!
The debut performance of the Infinity Modified Master (IMM®)
was at the Millenium match in July, 2000. Craig Keller used his IMM®
pistol to win Modified Division, and turn quite a few heads when his gun
easily slid into "the box".
Here's how we did it
Contoured grip frame
We contoured
the lower rear of the grip frame
Okosight
We installed the new Okosight - a Czech Republic made red-dot heads up display
featuring a full size viewing window with an exceptionally low profile.
Custom Carbon Fiber Scope Mount

| Our custom carbon fiber scope mount positions the Okosight
a mere .05" above the slide, while still permitting reliable operation
and ejection. |
Tribrid Barrel
|
| The Infinity Tribrid integrated compensator provides excellent
performance without the bulk of traditional compensator designs. |
Slide Contouring
We cut the
slide back to allow the gun to fit into the box at an angle (see photo).
A second-generation IMM® (shown) takes this one step further,
providing a custom-angled slide mated to box geometry.
And it Fits In The Box!
